Another "here's my idea, build it for free" posts. Where do these people come from? Also, I know the poster said $15/hr is a deal, and it is, but I don't price my work anywhere near that low. Does this seem normal to anyone?

    It's not right and I am curious why so many try that. And never price yourself so low.

    If it were me I would be very angry at that person. Your rate is way too low imo.

    I would have done that for free in high school. Or for a non-profit. When people ask me that, I tell them that they can't afford me. Mainly, because I already have zero free-time.

    @bremen242 just tell them that you don't do coding by request. That's more classic and less arrogant then telling them that they can't afford you ;) but means basicly the same.

    @plusgut good phasing. I'll keep that in mind. I normally save the "you can't afford me" comments to relatives that want to give me $20 for spending 5 hours fixing their stupid computer.
