So my boss asked me to take a look at a section of our website and see what can be improved to be more understandable, because "it doesn't feel right".
So I opened the page btw the whole website is complete potato it is based on $50 themeforest admin template and some php for the backend.
First i took in consideration all the info that we have and I made a prototype based on the latest trends and ux principles.
I showed that to my team and the head developer told us that we cannot change the text of one word because it will break the backend integration with our erp system.
The second responsible dev told me that he is not designer and he cannot change the whole website based on this prototype.
*Spoiler alert* I am not a dev but ihave finished couple of courses about web dev fundamentals, some codeacademy, freecodecamp now I am learning react from udemy and i am member of a ux institute. Trying to self learn to code.
How the fuk i am supposed to work. I don't understand those guys they don't want to make a fuxking simple effort to make something good and useful for the business, users and etc. Wtfffffffff is that shit. Wtf i am supposed to do. 4 months i waited 6 pictures to be changed 4 fucking monthsssssss because they have important work. Wtffffffff ffsssssss4
Back in the days when i was maybe third or fourth grade we had school classes called something like that Work and Technic and they were teaching us some shit on those computers. They are called Pravetz 8 and they were made in our country. I just remember drawing some lines on the screen the goal was to make a football field. What was the language or what we were doing I have no fucking clue 😂5
What's your choice of preference for a laptop display size 13' 14' or 15.6'? What is your experience with portable laptops?
I am about to get a portable 14 inch laptop although I got 15.6 but I never saw such a machine in person.
Will it be sufficient for a beginner? My main concern is will there be enough screen space for a text editor running side by side with browser just basic stuff that you can do and learn.7
The struggle is real!
So, I just found this community and I really dig it, it's amazing.
I want to share my frustrations with you guys and to seek for guidance, of you can be harsh rant me.
The styling part is doable since i also do enjoy design a lot.
When i read the stuff i understand and dig the most of it but when i am in a real world situation where I need to actually solve a simple problem i look like a fish on a dry hot asphalt.
When i open codewars i really cannot solve anything and it is frustrating.
I wanna be a dev i wanna create but i am nowhere.
I am going to go over every free course from the beginning and try again.
Feel free to throw anything you think any good advices will be appreciated.9
