Apparently the programming gods are against me. I am having one of those weeks where nothing can go right. So I am going to isolate the issue and work back from there. I love it when stuff runs locally but as soon as it hits ci its just f**ked. I guess this is why these things get written in the first place.....

You know whats fun? When you're in the midst of writing one of the most complex queries you've ever written, and your computer decides to shit out and delete the f*$cking file. Yep, its gone. I don't know where Windows sent this file, but its nowhere that I am able to find. Thankfully, I pushed up to GH a little while ago, but I have to rewrite two hours worth of code to get it back to where it is now. The moral of this story is save more often.9

I guess the point of college co-ops are to realize what you want to do and what you want to steer clear of. After working as a full stack JavaScript engineer & working as a .NET engineer, I can safely say I want nothing to do with .NET. 1 week until I go back to writing JavaScript full time again. I am counting down the minutes. Writing Node & Angular is much more interesting, to me, than writing SQL and C#. Rant over!1

I love it when a network engineer asks why it's been a week and I haven't finished rebuilding a non responsive site from the ground up in a little over two weeks time. Dude needs to get back to whatever the fuck network engineers do all day. Rant over.1

Gotta love getting messages from the PM about high priority emergency fixes that must happen before 6, and you're still sitting around waiting for the list of changes that need to be implemented and it's 3. Gotta love startups1

Ask for help early and as often as you need it. Nothing's worse than bringing a massive amount of questions to someone an hour before a projects due.

The worst part of being a Dev is that moment when non devs find out you're a developer they expect unrealistic things from you. No I can't hack your damn Facebook and I won't fix your shitty computer!6

I've been looking forward to receiving these in the mail! You guys are awesome and I'm happy to be able to show off the community to other devs!4

That moment when an employer is looking for a junior level developer with a grasp on every language imaginable and 4 to 6 years of experience...9
