@vlord because probably it's a bot
-
The ux is great, finally adding the menu at bottom where it belongs, makes it much easier to use with one hand... They only miss a gesture to scroll the different items horizontally.
Both things that windows phone did right since 2010 and now everyone else is catching up...wow already 14 years -
@kanyewest yes... I mean If you put always the same order (eg: safari on top) everyone is influenced in the same direction...at least like this there is a bit of random factor
-
@electrineer it's by law, the same was for windows ballot screen...because the user doesn't have to be influenced by the order
-
@qwwerty it's a random order
-
SVN and TFS
-
@electrineer I heard that too, but as far as I know, there are no browser yet on the store with their own engine, but I could be wrong.
-
@electrineer nope on iOS is all safari...always has been
They're just safari skins thanks to apple policy
P.s.
Funny the same apple users that now are outraged...we're so happy when the border ballot screen happened to windows...lol they're so biased -
@Lensflare 👍
-
I love their changelog "you're holding it wrong" or "it's not a bug it's a feature" style
https://twitter.com/brucel/status/... -
@Lensflare 👍
-
It makes my day see apple fanboys getting upset about this rant 🤣
-
@cafecortado lol...what about mint?
-
@Lensflare where did you see the complain? i just stated facts
-
Nothing is perfect, but honest rants will not get you ++ ... You cannot wire something bad about Linux here, or even worst write about giving windows a chance 🙂
-
C# is just a much better version of java.
Fixed -
@C0D4 oh I'm sure we'll be more, but I'll let you believe you're right, I'm not here to keep you updated with the progress of the story...bye
-
but but no one use PWAs
https://twitter.com/mysk_co/status/... -
@C0D4 according to my Twitter feed, and only my feed that has nothing to do with pwas...quite a lot. But hey you have the stats right
-
@C0D4 it was sarcasm, because you're the one here without stats
-
@C0D4 and this is your opinion... I'm quite sure if we ask a million people we'll have at least one different opinion
-
@dev0x01 shh don't upset all the apple fanboys, here on devrant you can make fun only about Microsoft and than you're cool
-
@C0D4 once again, we all can agree that native apps are superior, and we can do ALMOST the same with a browser... but no PWA is much more, like for example push notifications, background work and offline support... these are good in some cases when for some reasons your app cannot be published to a store for absurd rules (eg: cloud gaming apps on apple store)
-
> didn't know you were OBLIGED to install PWAs.
this was sarcasm, even if I don't like the tech, still a user should be able to install this app in this STANDARD way if they want... othereise how is called? anticompetitive, closed, evil...
> you mean like I always complain how MS moved from native to web tech for first party apps and OS controls?
this is not sarcasm, and you don't know me, I do it every time there is a chance to do it... but hey you defend apple because they killed something that you don't like.
keep going I love how you keep proving yourself wrong -
@d00td00t shhh don't tell it to apple fanboys, they can get hurt your toucheing their beloved company
-
@Lensflare didn't know you were OBLIGED to install PWAs.
P.s
you mean like I alwsy complain how MS moved from native to web tech for first party apps and OS controls? -
Classic apple fanboys replies...if it was another company, even if they wouldn't care or wouldn't like...there would be millions of articles, posts and comments how that company is evil, anticompetitive not open and bla bla bla...thanks for confirming that once again
-
(oh and before someone misunderstand me, I'm NOT saying that c#/.net/vs have NO issues)
-
Are you really comparing C# issues and worshippers, to js tech issues and worshippers ?
-
@aviophille also you're not that smart, even if I was a PR... Why I would spend here where there are only 100 users on total, and most of them spend their life hating on Microsoft?... it's a waste of time
