How is it possible?
I installed a treeview module. I followed all the documentation and the module is showing. Perfect!
Me: create 3 roots,
Module: all is ok.
Me: 😊create 2 nodes,
Module: everything is fine.
Me: 😁3rd node
Module: ... Kaput. tree displays like the nodes are in random order.
Me: 🤨Check the database, and fix the set.
Module: Aah much better.
Me: 😃Try to change an int.
Module: Noooooo! Big mistake!!!
Me: 🤔Ok, ok, ok, rollback! 😧
Module: still in random situation
Me: 😶 and now what? -
I think my laptop is as lazy as me: it turns on 2 seconds after I pushed the power button.

I swear! I just typed some words, I pressed [Enter] key and....
Oh my good, I broke the machine ...
I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry !
PS: this message is not alone, I found another one about a deprecated function once I clicked on a link... -
Thank you all advanced developers to make such great extensions !
2 extension modules needed, found in 2 days, with all the bonuses.
It's saving me weeks of work. And the show goes on. -
I don't know how to feel about this: in the dev team I am the only one working with a dark theme.
Are they real developers? Where am I?6 -

TL,DR : I am happy with my life
Order by * random;
I am a human being, living on Earth, in the European continent, in a non-splited family, my wife and my children are wonderful, I can eat all I want, I am healthy, I have enough free time to play with my children do gardening and train for a marathon,
I live in a lovely house,
I have a good education, a lot of video games on my PC (which I made from scratch), my wife starts to play video games and learn about computers,
My dev job is wonderful. My boss is happy with me, I can manage my time as I want, I don't work in an open space, I still learn about dev, frameworks, and stuff, I work with great co-workers,
... All the things listed were my dream when I was young. I feel very lucky to have this life, I am the happiest man in the world.
Be happy with your life. If you can read this post and reply, you are luckier than you think.4 -
I remember the first device I programmed on it... Ordisavant.
It used to be a classic question-answer machine (with multiplayer !), And ... Basic language!
I was so proud to make music with beeps, or a calculating machine, just for fun.
It was hard to read a program line by line, but it was so cool for me.
I was nearly 6 when my parents bought me this really great toy.
I wonder if anybody know it?2 -
Starting my PC. Slow. Very slow. Keyboard and mouse are not responding.
I think - I THINK - Windows is updating. Ok, I let you 15 min. Still frozen. Mouse move in a nearly 1 frame per 4 seconds.
Ok, I have to leave all day, I let you finish.
Coming back after 24h. Still frozen. Are you kidding me? An update so-called stealthy? Go in hell kro$oft!3 -
2 days to find where the NullPointerException came from, in a nearly 150 tables database. Once I found it I feel like the guy who found the grain of sand blocking the whole machine.2
