@retoor no need. since weed is legal now, this will become part of the netherlands, soon, anyway.
after all, what else are the dutch than germans who are perpetually stoned instead of perpetually drunk and grumpy? ;) -
> uses javascript out of their free will
> complains about not being hired -
@TeachMeCode "Ewoks are those cool little teddy bear creatures" - you misspelled "abominable"
-
@retoor not really "anymore". i've flown only once in my life (twice if you count the return), and that was almost 20 years ago and because my sister invited me to join her mallorca vacation.
but to be fair, there's just almost nowhere i'd wanna go where i'd _have_ to fly. -
@retoor nope, wookies are the lame BIG bears from star wars.
-
@mostr4am i wouldn't. because there's no need. you know the slogan "thing globally, act locally"? i'm doing my part by not breeding here. and in total, it doesn't matter much _where_ new humans are prevented from spawning.
-
@retoor nah, not too young.
just smart enough NOT to take one a task that i don't want to take on, and that i am not qualified for. (in contrast to most people, who just mindlessly keep on breeding) -
@retoor not sure if you're failing at humor, or demonstrating sincere ignorance.
but in either way, the planet IS overpopulated given our current standard of living.
and no, i won't adopt. i HATE children. -
EVERYTHING in a capitalist economy is just another form of exploitation.
-
even in 2024, pen&paper rules supreme.
-
@mostr4am why not streamline the process and delete your new accounts the moment you create them?
saves you the trouble of posting stuff. -
@Demolishun 3-6 are great, 1+2 are "meh" and 7-9.... they were the REAL disturbance in the force.
-
it is not in any way "illegal to ask questions". what you mean in this case is "some people don't want to ANSWER certain questions".
if you can't distinguish those diametrically opposed concepts, then please just keep out of any and all discussions of any importance. -
it's the worst thing that could ever happen to me.
people suck. children especially. and we're radically overpopulating this planet as it is. -
"understand" - LLMs don't understand anything.
they just generate text tokens that might fit the pattern of a possibly relevant answer.
also: try asking a LLM, it might give you a response more quickly than a platform that's dedicated to _ranting_ - not _explaining_ ;) -
@Liebranca can't.
forgot my microscope. -
@Liebranca yeah, that's pretty weak-willed and petty. and hopefully impossible, since i want my ashes scattered somewhere, without any tombstone. (also: once i'm dead, i sure as hell won't care the least bit)
-
@Hazarth i still disagree.
the LLM was _trained_ to not provide certain content. just like _you_ were trained by your parents not to do certain things (i hope, at least).
and i still think that "moderation" and "censorship", while being somewhat adjacent, are fundamentally different things. -
just use a browser.
-
maybe you're just a weak-willed whimp?
-
no. now go spam somewhere else. inside a running garbage press, for example.
-
@Taqsblaz3 you know that motherfucking is illegal without consent from your mother?
-
@Hazarth that being said: i believe the real reasoning behind this is that no caricature could ever hope to even get close to the level of "pathetic" that trump inherently has. nothing could compare to laughing at the real loser, so why waste processing power on trying?
-
@Hazarth question: is it censorship if YOU for yourself decide NOT to say something?
because that's basically the same scenario, only scaled down. after all you're just a neural net implemented in wetware.
i bet you _wouldn't_ call it censorship. the better term would be "self-moderation". -
how happy is your mother about this?
-
and it is written that the code works in mysterious ways
-
@donkulator and trust be, "all people suddenly developing [whatever]" would be DEEPLY unsettling to everybody. even if [whatever] is something like "common sense".
-
@C0D4 well, it's still _slightly_ better than vscode - since the latter can't use ReSharper.
-
@localpost "all chars are bytes"? ever heard of unicode?
-
buddy, if you're viewing yourself as "mediocre", you're still upselling like hell.
