    I still remember this legendary project I did maintainance for which had an include file for the last digit of the year. When it hit 2011, I had to change the digit from 0 to 1. 2012, change it to 2. It was really stupid.

    I hate to hard code things, but I usually do in my own projects. I always make them to me.

    My last Dev is a personal finance manager that helps me to split the house costs with my wife. Guess which names are hardcoded?
