If you want to research about ROMS go to XDA. Always it is better to start with lineageos :)

@elonmusk @7root You were faster but let me correct you ;). There's a rom called copperhead which focuses on security and the Blackphone (have to look up the android rom yourself) has a custom rom focused on privacy!

As for privacy apps:
PMP or XPrivacy (requires root and xposed)
AdAway
AFWall+ (root firewall)

That's some stuff to start with :)
