The Philips Hue API is some tight-ass shit! I'm not particularly interested in the light bulbs-- maybe I'll give them a try --but the API for the motion sensor is brilliant. Simple, easy JSON responses to simple GET requests against a device-specific URL. I was able to throw together a working sensorcheck script in only a couple minutes.
