@linuxxx US "politics": democrats refused to allow the budget to go to a vote because republicans won't pass DACA -- whose entire purpose is letting illegals stay here and get free everything for another six years. The effect of this refusal is a) government shutdown, meaning most government employees and contractors won't get paid, b) 9 million low-income children lose health insurance, c) our military no longer gets paid. Several other things, but those are the highlights.

All in an attempt to make the president look bad?

Despite harboring and helping illegals being against the law anyway. How that makes him horrible and irresponsible is beyond me, but the news doesn't report the truth anymore, so they can and will blame it on him anyway.

It's more like a temper tantrum than politics.

@RedBorg The democrats want DACA to apply, not just to the children of illegal immigrants, but to their extended families as well. None of these people should have entered our country in the first place, and their children certainly shouldn't be given citizenship. Reminds me of the laws in other countries protecting squatters.

No matter what Trump does, the democrats want the opposite. Lower taxes? No, raise them! Stop illegal immigration? No, expand it! Block immigration from terror-producing countries? No, encourage it! Cut regulations? Worst thing ever!

And have you been paying attention to the news? Nothing Trump does, no matter what it is, is reported nicely by the democrat-leaning media. He drinks with two hands? He feeds the ceremonial fish by just tossing the food (but so does the leader of Japan, but never you mind that)? He ignored a handicapped kid (except when he didn't, but we're not showing that)? Covfefe? A huge tax cut somehow "destroys the middle class"? Cutting regulations "kills small business"? The improvement in the economy is due to Obama, despite seeing no real increases during his 8 years? The stockmarket going up immediately after the election results is also due to Obama's policies? Not to mention the outright fabrications.

No matter what Trump does, the media distorts it either blaming him or somehow praising the democrats.

So, blaming Trump for not "getting people together" when one side just hates him *so much* is absolutely insane.
