Anyone else feels forced into a position by your project leader to be responsible for another coworker's work?

I feel like it is a burden of an ship anchor. They expect me to explain when she does not do her job correctly or uses too much time on X task.

    Obviously talking to you makes more sense.

    If there is no other way see it as a challenge to develop your leader skills :)

    @Ederbit I will! However can't shake the feeling off, that if I do not do it correctly, the consequences will be severe.
