Anyone else have problems installing Visual Studio for Mac?

Yesterday I decided to to a factory refresh of my iMac and MacBook.

All went well, and Xcode took 4 hours to install, which is to be be expected.

I decided to give visual studio a try because it’s free and why not.

I didn’t check my iMac, but I looked at my MacBook this morning and visual studio has been finishing installation for about 15 hours.

My MacBook is old and not especially powerful, but I think 15 hours is a bit excessive

    Nope I had no issue on my MacBook Pro, it's a mid 2009 so it's fairly old too

    I didn’t have this issue last time.

    I’ll just have to see where they’re at tonight, maybe stop the installation and start it again

    Same no issues, in fact I only installed it Friday, so wouldnt think it's a dodgy install released.

    I remember on my PC it would often take me days to install it. :-)

    @Nanos true I know VS can be a bit of a beast to install.

    If they’re still going when I get home might have to download the installer again.

    Holy shit 0.o no bato that is not normal. Have you checked to see if everything is good internally? Like with the hardware? Xcode took about 20 or 30 mins to install (not sure since i left it while playing games) and va code was a breeze.

    I think I found your problem on line 1-> you are using a Mac.

    @EladMatia they’re not that bad.

    I have windows and Linux machines as well as my apple stuff, they all serve a purpose.
