Always there. You just ignored it. Neglected it. It's cruel to do that for a long time someone you know

@ModernShoe its the start of new companionship. You meet with new things at some certain period of time. I think this was the time. Ain't leaving it anytime sooner.

PS: I didn't neglected it. I was just not aware. Still a noob🤷

@deepgoel from my experience, Ubuntu and Linux in general has bad usability with standBy hibernate and other such functions.

@securiter It works okay for me

@securiter works fine with me, maybe you have faulty hardware?

@securiter its working fine for me too. You may need to check your system.

How quickly this became a support for hybernation on Linux 😀 ^

Uhm, maybe, let's assume there is but if that were the case I would encounter the same issue on Win, right? And I didn't. Plus I have seen it do the same on multiple devices and since I'm experienced user...in technology, anyways, it would at least suggest it requires additional expertise to set it up properly. Anyways, I wasn't bashing or anything, I'm still mainly using linux for my development and pc for home pc (gaming and such) but out experience with 4/5 distros over multiple devices I have had experience with those particular functions. So we're cool and we like linux! <3

@securiter that's great pal. Maybe I've just set up the machine that's why I'm facing no trouble. Anyway that was informative. Thanks

@deepgoel it hasn't been your friend before, so you didn't neglect it. Now it is, and you can start neglecting your grumpy old, less sexy, and kinda obnoxious friend “Windows”.

@flying-sheep can't divorce windows completely though, but kinda having live-in relation with Linux!😅

It all comes down to better problems. Problems in Linux based OSs are better than problems in Windows. At least for me.

@deepgoel I strive to keep contact to a minimum, I only meet windows when I *really* need something. Maybe thrice a year?

After switching from Windows, it's safe for ME to say that I don't miss ANYTHING from Windows.

@flying-sheep the place I hail from, windows is the only os for most of the people and Linux is like otherworld thing for most of the them. Can't maintain the distance from windows even if I want to!
