Job hunting is the absolute worst. When looking for my first dev job I was turned down for everything.

After about 8 months I ended up interviewing for a frontend role and being accepted as an apprentice doing IT Support over the phone. Wasn't what I was looking for but I got a foot in the door and progressed into the development team... Eventually!

You'll get there, it just takes time. Stick it out

Do an internship maybe, get some easy experience and use that to get a good job. Also repeat after me I WILL NOT USE LINKEDIN TO FIND AN ENTRY LEVEL JOB. Use angel.co

@arpit1997 are you kidding? That's a start ups job site. Don't you need to be a full stack senior to work at a start up?

@FunkDelegate startups hires variety of people from 0 months experience to 10 years experience people. Try it once I am sure you will be able to find a suitable one for you.

Yea i dont know why these guys are suggesting to not use linkedin, a viable source, to find a job. They suck - but linkedin can connect you with recruiters... and if you play the game and network with recruiters, they will definitely find you a job. Its how I found my first app developer job, and I didnt even have a college degree yet, or high school diploma for that matter. I just had a strong portfolio of projects I did in my free time.

@mkdirLuci4 different is that you have to use LinkedIn very effectively to get a job which is harder than angel.co. otherwise LinkedIn is a very good platform if used properly

@arpit1997 still - if the dude cant find a job he shouldnt be "begging and choosing", he should be buckling up and not going the easy route - otherwise my sympathys are low when he has to work at MickeyDs

@arpit1997 I've never seen a start up job offer for a junior. Apart from "juniors" that are full stack and have 3 to 5 years experience.

I've taken a look at the site and at first glance, apart from one true junior developer job in Amsterdam, all the offers are as I described above. E.g. angel.co/zipgo/jobs/84785-junior-backend-engineer-ror
It says "experience in building highly scalable business applications". You tell me if you know a lot of junior devs that qualify for that?? They clearly want a senior developer at an intern's wage.

@FunkDelegate really? I got two offers (7 l.p.a each, in India that's a decent amount) from angel.co both as a fresher

@arpit1997 Well, you're the one knowing the site. I was just surprised.

Hang in there, introspect and work on what's going wrong/where you're lacking and you should be able to find a perfect job match for yourself in no time.
    Good luck!
