What if devs are required to take a licensure examination that expires every couple of years?

We would have less developers and recruiters would be way more desperate

What if I say, we have to get a liecense in wipping your ass. No license no wipe.

2. Paper : good

That’s a good business idea.

There is such thing already in certain landscapes, for example many big companies like microsoft, sap, oracle, google offer certifications for their products. Some recruiters probably look at this but anyone sensible would value real world experience over these credentials.
