If there's one thing I've learned from a-hole co-employees, it is to avoid ending up being like them.

I envy the freelancers.

@abhishekb It's true. Those are the kind of people are the ones who get promoted/awarded. And they are proud of it a lot like they've earned it. If I had that award, I would give credit to the team and perhaps dine out as well.

They are also the people who last long in the company. Like when everyone is resigning you'd know who will be staying because they have nothing to prove outside.

Corporate life isn't a democracy. In fact it's weird we wouldn't want to live in a dictatorship country but spend a third of our life in corporate dictatorship. Doesn't make any sense to me...
