The more you do it the better it gets. I practice at home. I have a mic, a speaker and projector. I also speak at user groups now and then which is really scary.
-
I find that prior to the event I am so nervous but once I start talking it is "show time" and it flows if I have practiced and have a side deck that keeps me on track.

One more trick is to film yourself practicing and though painful see what kind of annoying things you are doing. Also present in front of other devs who will give feedback.

What @georgelynch said and:
Just chill. If you're nervous you'll most likely fuck it up anyways so just chill. They're not gonna kill you if you do something wrong but it always looks weird when youre like holding back yourself because you're nervous or something. Just be yourself and present them what you want to say. But of course: the more often you do it the better you get at it -
One more thing. Get to the event early to check internet connectivity and that the projector works. Bring your own cables and extra extension cord. Don't assume anything.
