What did Google backup and sync do to my Mac!!! Binary files IN THE TRASH! MY BINARY IS IN THE TRASH!

@R5on11c I use git as well but I do have a need for gdrive but this is unacceptable.

It pegged my CPU at 100% when idle and I'm not alone. Fuck that crap. Rclone FTW.

@bashcommander sorry, on macos. Not sure if its cross platform but theres an issue open (for ages).

It works fine and then runs away when you turn your back. Like the CPU equivalent of a memory leak.

@scttmthsn Yeah, I had to delete backup and sync and then I removed all traces of the gdrive folder. Im just going to utilize gdrive the same way I do with Linux... The web extension. It's not worth the headache. It's sad that Google can't get this right.
