    Maybe because someone else will come and rewrite all your code, thereby adding 100 bugs to the wall.

    First user story I ever worked on was adding a customer reference number value to a view. A couple of sprints later that view was completely replaced with something else.

    This is very good advice indeed. Beeing able to delete code and start over again is an important skill. Same applies to music as well.

    it's just like what CrashOverride and musician have said. Sometimes, when you're too attached to your code you're hindering yourself to get better.
