@zlice do you need anything else for charging?

You need to make file transfers? How often? WiFi @ 130Mbps isn't good enough?

If so, then wait for the Mi 8 and deal with MiUI or whip out a double price from your pocket.

To me, what's important is the things I use all the time = speed, screen, usability, camera.

I can't even justify the need for WiFi ac, nor the need for dual camera, nor a lot of other features that are just numbers on a paper.

@zlice Asus 5z ZS620KL? The one with USB 2.0? The one that's practically identical (just worse software support), aside from a lower megapixel count in favor of bigger pixels?

If you want a phone that's technically better, get the Mi 8

@zlice why would I root it? I mean it would be nice to have, but in the past I just didn't use the root most of the time. Just backups, and fixing bugs that were probably caused by unlocking the bootloader in the first place.

Maybe in a year, when it needs some manual tuning to stay in top shape. Not right now when everything is just Perfect.

Yes! I got mine the other day. Haven't had a new phone since one plus one 3 years ago, so massive upgrade. I've actually got 4g now :D
