I think I just managed to fry my hdd THE SAME GODDAMN DAY I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO BACKING IT UP.
Holy fucking shit, that was WAY too close for comfort... 😰

Edit: Nope, apparently it started working again after I checked the cables (even though the tower hasn't been touched for ages, no fucking clue how moving cables can fix a crash caused by force stopping a few processes. Maybe all it needed was three reboots to start working again?...).

The failure might not be real, but the mini heart attack I just had certainly was 😨

I have an external HDD for backup.. still empty... Well I learned the last time I've completely destroyed my computer that I have to be more careful and since then nothing ever happened again. I must admit though, I lost my favorite piece of software and it was my only copy ;-;

Tip for you guys, don't fight windows, either install Linux or try to get along with it. I did some.. "major modifications" to my system last time... Let me just tell you this... I've completely destroyed windows defender and any trace I could find. (After that Troubleshooter started as soon as I boot my PC, because it couldn't start the defender... So I completely killed the troubleshooter too...)
