I can understand a site asking for donations.

I can understand a site with a clusterfuck of ads.

But if you run a site with a clusterfuck of annoying ads AND throw in a link asking for donations, you are a piece of money hungry shit.

If you run an ad block detector and ask me to disable mine because you need ad revenue to maintain your site the ads on your site better not be obtrusive or I'm leaving immediately no matter how much your content might be something I'm interested in. Respect my desire to not be annoyed by the ads I encounter.
