Also, if you report something, no need to comment on the rant. Just vote/do whatever you want and move on.

Not to be the bad guy but @Floydian point of view is that these days rants are mostly about rage or something fucked up happening. However; to look at it from @dfox point of view, a rant is anything, those categories are only to help people filter jokes/memes from other content.

According to me, this rant is not a joke, not a question, and not some random topic not related to dev stuff, it can go into "rant" or "random" categories.

    Just my two cents :)

@gitpush Like you said, it doesn’t belong in any other categories and definitely isn’t a joke/meme. That’s why we ask people not to backseat moderate and certainly not to backsteat moderate when the category is possibly debatable.

@dfox by the way out of topic, I've been having really good experience with devRant speed these days, especially with image loading on mobile app, my home internet is 2Mbits so when I say good experience, you better believe me :3

@Floydian it’s not “random.” Random is for stuff that doesn’t fit in any other categories and isn’t generally dev-related, as the description states.

This is 100% dev-related. The spirit of post types and the rant category specifically isn’t to make it ridiculous to figure out where stuff belongs. This can very well be considered a type of story, mistake, etc. which are fine as rants. Would it be ok in random too? Sure. But come on, let’s keep devRant fun. No one wants comments like that and people being sticklers and debating categories when they might debatable. I’m getting tired of seeing that behavior, and I’m not singling you out, I call it out whenever I see it. The #1 positive feedback we get about the devRant community is that it’s a welcoming place, and this isn’t welcoming behavior.

You also didn’t make the op aware of anything valuable. You posted a cryptic comment that they didn’t know what it meant (I don’t think many would) and it seemed more like an attempt to just be negative/criticize.
