Why on Earth would you build API in VBA ? It's such an unusable language, everything is stupid (cuz it's for beginners, right? just fuckoffplz)

Why are we building modern technologies on top of ancient stuff ? Scalable ? Manageable ? Readable ? Anything ?

    i have an educated guess, coworkers walks up your desk and wants you to solve some more than basic task in excel, it turns out that vanilla excel isnt doingt it, programming would do, but creating an entire program that display data and the like would be a little overkill.

    Therefore you program it in excel, cause you know, its easy to do and you instantly see results.

    Fast forward to 3 years later, 10 coworkers modified the thing, and the underlying excel sheet is just a bad database at this point. You start to develop an API...

    An API in VBA? How the frickle is that even possible? You can run VBA outside of an MS Office environment??? the frick? I've worked in some ugly-ass environments but I feel bad for you son.
