Our security group is so tight that they won't give the credentials for deployment. They just created a role "attached" that role to our deployment server. How does that even work????

I'm assuming you're talking about AWS IAM roles for EC2s, or a concept very similar.

It seems like you have a half decent security group from the sounds of this. It's much better than handing out credentials willy nilly!

@mrmr yup, I agree. But... serverless and claudia unforunately don't support IAM role based authentication. I guess expectation were out of whack.

Ah I see, personally to get around that I have the role attached to the server running my CI/CD pipeline.

Did you end up sorting this out with your Security team?

@mrmr not yet. We do have a meeting tomorrow and hopefully iron out everything. :)
