I have done it!

I have discovered my biggest irritant when it comes to the tech world and that is fragmentation and visual disorganisation and once again, Microsoft and Google are the fucking worst for it, all applications have different design languages in play, their OS's are disjointed (Chrome OS shits me just because of how much android is leaking in yet they refuse to use similar navigation and the like)...

Apple did it right, oh we are redesigning our mobile platform and desktop platform at the same time, oh I know! Let's make them follow the same fucking design...

I'm just some random 20 year old and have so many ideas that almost everyone will agree make both teams products so much user appealing -,-

    I hope you'll be able to go get your own wikipedia page for being the guy who defined new standards for good design language. Because you're so right, I don't really see much differences, BUT my mom has an iPad and rarely has problems using it, she doesn't own an iPhone, but has also no problems navigating my dad's. SO yes, they're doing that right. (Not mentioned any technical depths, because I have no clue about UI)

    If only everything Apple made wasn't such overpriced garbage that always chooses form over function.

    @jonii thankyou!

    I don't understand how Google and Microsoft haven't worked it out though, Chrome OS has the same 3 navigation bar buttons as android yet 2 of them are different icons, Microsoft can't decide on fluent design if their business depended on it -,-

    @hexc tbh they aren't that overpriced for what they are, I think the "apple tax" is gone but instead replaced with the "thin" tax, arguably a worse option, but then again I use a MB pro so maybe I'm just a bit defensive ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    @lxmcf nah, apple tax is still very much a thing, companies dell XPS offering and you'll see quite easily it's still a thing

    @hexc True but it isn't quite an apples to apples comparison, close but not quite

    @lxmcf what else would you wanna compare it with?

    Also I have the feeling they got some stuff that isn't too overpriced (still overpriced though), but you'll also need to get accessories, like a lot and pricey accessories. I hate that they deny standards like micro-usb and get rid of helpful stuff, just to improve the design.

    @jonii don't really know what else but it's 2 completely different companies building a laptop for different purposes.

    Not saying the XPS isn't a better option though. It 100% is

    @lxmcf lol MacBook and XPS are both notebooks and then you can compare models with similar specs.
