So apparently you can now run Windows 95 from an app made in electron.

This was my first operating system. I can remember playing Pajama Sam in '96 at the tender age of 6 and teaching my parents how to use a computer. And now it's a freaking electron app that uses 200MB!! of ram. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

    @Brosyl Is it really the case that Win95 is nothing more then a shell on top of DOS? I know that when the UI is started, the virtual machine manager takes over the file system-related and disk-related parts of DOS. DOS was demoted to a compatibility layer for 16-bit device drivers. So drivers in MS-DOS would be pushed to Win95 whenever the chance came up.

    I started with Windows XP, never touched Win 95.

    @starrynights89 xp was the first windoze that didnt rely on the cmd. Infact, the cmd in xp is just a simulation. Linux, on the other hand, heavily relies on executing commands via the ux
