    Doing it by yourself is one thing
    And
    Looking up and learning the steps by heart is another

    @d02d33pak yup
    I m lucky BCS my crush think I m intelligent.😂😂😂😂

    I'm positive you didn't solve it for yourself and had to solve it with the bundled manual for the first two months. Two minutes of silence for people too lazy to figure out things for themselves.

    1 algorithm is sufficient apparantly. Though, the median human probably won't ever come up with it on his/her own.

    @xewl I accept
    I can't solve without algo

    I'd just paint the sides with a brush 😂

    Hey, it's still a skill.

    It's definitely not mentally stimulating, after all its just memorizing algos.

    That said, the simple set of algorithms only get you so far if you're going for speed. I've had to memorize too many algorithms in order to consistently get sub 30s solves. I can't do it anymore, out of practice, but I think it's worth recognizing the mental work required.

    @deadPix3l
    My lowest time was 40s without speed cube.

    Then have fun doing some FMC or Blind without any cognitive power 😉

    Ive tried and tried. Ive got to 3 sides without answer. But i cant seem to get my spatial awareness on point to see steps ahead....

    Then i looked up the answer and didnt get past 2 sides.

    10 minutes of silence for me please.

    I was able to solve a face and 2 rows without knowing the algorithm, but it took me hours and I could never solve it completely by myself. So I looked up for the algorithm and solved it, was kinda proud of myself, but then it became just a mnemonic task and I lost interest in it

    @import-fun that's about the best I could consistently do. Sometimes I would get something in the mid-high 30s, and one lucky solve I got low 20s when it was somehow just done after F2L. But I'm so out of practice, it takes me at least a minute now.

    *raises hand*

    Averages around 14 Seconds.

    Take your time learning intuitive F2L and then continue looking for some algs for difficult cases. Always try to understand whats happening with the pairs. Try to combine some common moves (Sledgehammer, Sexy,..). This will improve your F2L.

    At the same time start to learn Full PLL and maybe some OLLs for simple cases (like F (Sexy Move)*3 F‘), but don‘t do too much for 1LOLL, because it will just being you like 1,5-2 Seconds.

    Try to do cross under 2.5 Seconds and you should easy be sub 25 on most of your solves.

    @teequila tu I will try it

    @teequila thx for the tips! I usually do 2L for OLL and PLL, but I'm terrible at lookahead for F2L, which is where I probably lose all my time.
