I fucking hate the fact that every tech company now needs for devs to be up-to-date with geeksforgeeks or leetcode to pass their interview.

Is there no other way to confirm that a Dev is legit?

    How would you do it?

    This leetcode or geeksforgeeks buzz is only related to USA. In europe you get a technical test where you solve a a problem or implement something.

    Never heard of those sites, but I’m not in the coastal areas nor change jobs every two years.

    I never got asked to FizzBuzz.

    Of course, FizzBuzz in T-SQL just looks silly:

    @zemaitis

    All big product based companies ask extensive algorithmic questions here in India.

    It's like being in college all over again. Its not a usual task in my day to day job to implement binary search or BFS. I never have to implement Dynamic Programming to solve a problem.

    Each of these are available as a library.

    Never heard of those

    Add me to the "never heard of these" camp, and I've never had them mentioned to me in any interview either.

    Only thing I've been asked for is a GitHub profile.
