i keep hearing horror stories about react native, why is that? i just started learning it, is that bad? is it worth to learn it?

    Cross Platform always got some limits... and dependant on Native...
    So better try Native Dev.

    @noms89 those limits dont apply to 90% of the crud apps most people are building. If you have the money to build 2 seperate apps go ahead. Otherwise rn or flutter are fantastic alternatives

    @musician these fuckers discouraged me to learn it, i haven't heard literally one positive thing about it. even paid course instructions on udemy listed cons of rn and didn't even mention pros. so disappointing

    @SukMikeHok my advice is. Learn it. At least build a hello world in it then decide if you like the syntax and workflow. Yes you cant do everything you can do with native apps and it wont run as fast but its fast enough for most apps.
    There are always cons to every plattform.

    Also another big upside. You'll learn react at the same time which is a valuable skill these days.
