I beg your fucking pardon?
First I'm forced to use NTFS on windows and now forced to use Ext4... Just let me fucking use exFAT please...

If someone can provide a legitimate reasoning to this please because it's beyond a joke in my head...

    FAT may not have some features required by the dropbox client. Probably secures your files by changing ownership of the file to whatever user is logged in with that account. That's not a supported feature in FAT or NTFS for linux because those filesystems dont support those flags; the mount program usually gives a single user/group access to the entire disk.

    try rsync on an exFAT drive... just try it... i'll wait...

    @gitlog no but Dropbox reduced the range of compatible file systems.
