What's up with the scrollbar?

Rants and comments are "unloaded" if they are too far away from the current view, which means the size of the scroll bar will also change.

Just memory management :)

As far as I know, it's legnth is generated dynamically depending on that is loaded, so short posts make the bar go tiny and big does the opposite. Or something like that. It's been like this for ever.

It's one of those things on devrant that is technically a bug, but has been around for so long that people like it because it is unique.
