My usual scenario:

"Ah this'll be a quick fix, must be something in the template."

5 hours later...

"I've changed the template code and guarded against this in the backend as well, but somehow it's still happening. Screw this, I'm going to bed."

After a good night's sleep...

"Oh. It was that simple. I just forgot to push the code."
