Hi guys. Have a question about working in USA as a foreigner (EU national). Next year I plan on coming to work in the US under H1B visa in a big company where I will have opportunity to apply for EB3 green card after 6 months of working there. Lets say I get the green card in 2-3 years and Im finally free from my first work in US. How hard it would be for me to find another job in there? I mean I will have few years of experience under my belt so thats fine. But what about education which was acquired not in USA? Like I dont have a GED or a bachelors degree from US. Is it true that without US education most of employers wont even consider to invite me for an interview?

I'm not USA based but I'd say most startups and some companies pay more attention on your experience than actual titles, at least that's what I've seen working as a consultant t for one.

@JKyll This was my experience as well. Worked in UK, Czech Republic and Sweden and each time companies/startups didn't even ask me to show my bachelors degree although I have it. I created this question/rant because I know this guy who is demotivating me to go to USA because of the silliest reasons you can imagine. Such as 'your accent will be foreign so you will struggle', 'you will be a slave', 'no one will hire u without US education' etc. etc.

@zemaitis it means he's gonna miss ya, but I'd say you should take the leap, after all USA is filled up with startups with nice pay and "experience only" entry barriers.

I've done a couple of trips recently, also have a relative working there and so far that's what I've experienced.
