I guess you can't improve if dev only bores you. Just move to another career duh

@M1sf3t maybe my English sucks too much.. That's not my point. I wanted to say it very hard to become good in something that doesnt interest you, and you should not do/learn/hard work smth that doesn't interest you or you find it boring

Get into GIS

Have a goal or set up a challenge for yourself. That's what i do on my spare time. It helps to advance and learn new methods and standards.
