I have a big progress / update meeting to lead my team tomorrow.

Our investor has "ideas" on features and things that will significantly change the information we have to include in our code.

We are suppose to launch Jan,1 2019

He says I'll Call you tonight to give you the details so you will be ready for tomorrows meeting. .........
............
...........
yep never calls.
Fucking Awesome! can't wait to tell my team tomorrow. "glad you all came in today, looks like we have to change somethings I'm just not sure what yet."

Maybe I'll order pizza and beer to the office and we will all play video games until he shows up. and say if you aren't going to take this seriously why should we.

Fuckers!!!!!!!!!!

Tell him no. You are not his yes man. Tell him to his face realistically what you can do in the time allotted. If he fires you or any other drastic measure then his company is not worth your time. There are no shortages of work for software developers.

Man I hate these people that see hacking movies and think programming is all smack the keyboard a bit and say "I'm in".

If it's not feasible you gotta say so. You'll probably have to reiterate it a few times for each "but it's just this little thing". Better than saying yes and not having it ready

So dude finally calls at 9:30am:

I: so, sorry I forgot about the call last night I was in business meetings all night (🍸) how is it going?

Me: pretty great! We all have had coffee and donuts. J is getting engaged for Christmas. D is finally going somewhere great for spring break.

I: no I mean how is the app going.

Me: well all of the features I sent you will take us an extra 30days so no launch until Feb 1st at the latest.

Also last night I thought of another feature where one could ring the other person's phone continuously even if they have it on vibrate. (went right over his head)

I: I'll take another look at the email again tonight.

    (I'm not holding my breath)
