    Common, just go with whatever language that fits the purpose, you wouldn't do web front-end In python.

    @EclipseMain I'd pick Python anytime!! Except you can write in typescript.

    @lostinmyworld
    Python anytime?
    Try calling 1000 requests at a time and timeout all the requests which don't return responses with in 100 ms and give them as search result to your client.

    Yeah because the pseudo multi-threadding of a python interpreter would be totally handy on embedded stuff or because python is so fast that you don't even need c(++)/rust/go/... core code or because you can syscall without wrappers from python or because there are two major versions in use at the same time and the creators aren't able to deprecate the older one in favor of compatibility layers or because memory management is not controllable from python or because you have shitloads of envs with different packages instead of just linking the lib
    If you add a scripting in that sentence i agree to some degree (eg sh vs python scripting is use case dependent regarding preference)

    @gowtham-sai JavaScript is maybe the language you would need, but it is not the one I'd want.

    @lostinmyworld nope, I don't pick languages and solve problems. I pick problems and solve them using *most efficient(bunch of other things) language* for that problem.

    Love Python. Sadly it was not the right choice for most of my problems in recent years.
