    Sorry.. I tried, but I can't ignore the fact that most of these aren't languages but frameworks. Thus they aren't variants but tools to work with Javascript, Typescript, etc.

    I would rather compare how much more rich the Javascript ecosystem has become in the last years.

    PS: no, I'm not a Javascript nor front-end dev. although I do work with it at times.

    Depends on how you define "JS Variant". Does it compile to JS? TS, Dart, ClojureScript, Elm and so on and so forth.

    Babel and NPM is most definitely not a "JS Variant" in any way.
