Fuck it. Two big releases plus all the minor shit raining down on our team with only three active devs. A new team member who's unfortunately more of a burden and nuisance while the whole ship burns so beautifully....
And stupid me? I fucking break my arm, is in a cast now for four weeks. So I can mostly watch, while everything sinks.

Maybe you should focus more on helping the new guy and mentoring him?

@zemaitis I actually try. But it's s bit hard, patience pretty exhausted,my lack of sleep.. And did not want to rant to much about it, but he is... complicated; keeps on babbling incoherently about his 138 women, his problems with his home town, his attempts to loose weight etc. which all adds to the noise in the office that is busy as a bee hive already. He doesn't read manuals we point him too, so he's really struggling to speed up to us who are a bit overclocked. Nevertheless keeps on throwing around the buzzwords, suggesting I should solve my OpenSSL debugging with AI...

@zemaitis thanks man. Definitely. Last 'holidays' last year were 3 weeks with my son in hospital/reha, so I experience some US worker feel who don't have 30 days annual vacation.
Additionally we're moving and my sons allergies pestering us again. But I shouldn't whine as I've still time to rant.. And on work an experienced co-worker helped debugging and code reviewing: "that use of std::string... You just want to shoot yourself". And it's a good learning experience
