Is there a desktop widget to monitor my websites if they are down, slow.
I know I can have web services for that to receive emails about down websites
But I really just want a simple widget with a simple ui that tells warns me when my website is down

    You can do that with Rainmeter. You can get it to run any program at a specified interval, then it's fairly straightforward to display a text file on the desktop.

    Well, you would only need a little script I'd say. Ping it every X and display a message accordingly.

    @kamen I just wanted to suggest rainmeter as well. Its a 10min task to implement
