Anyone using skysilk vps here? Is it reliable? What are your thoughts?

The website design looks sketchy, feels like a fake hosting provider.

I have a couple of development/testing servers running on Skysilk. I don't use it heavily but it seems pretty reliable to me. Haven't experienced any downtime in the time I've been using them, at least.

There's nothing special that really makes them stand out from the competition other than their low prices, but if you just want a no-frills VPS for dirt-cheap then they're a good option.

Edit: They also have this "skypoints" thing where you earn points for using their platform and can then use those points to get rewards, but honestly, you don't get very much out of it so I wouldn't let that factor into your decision unless you find another VPS provider with similar prices and have trouble deciding between them.

@EmberQuill looks like it's perfect for staging and running low budget projects.

@HoloDreamer it's a good testbed as long as you only need a simple VPS.
