I'd love to know how a clean install of version 430 installs 388?

Oh fuck this brings back traumatic memories. I hope you ain’t trying to get CUDA to work or something.

@grumpyoldaf CUDA can run on windows?

@devTea If you try hard enough. I got it working somehow after a week or so with lot of support from friends and family and few sessions with the therapist afterwards.

430 is in feature branch 388 for some reason.

Use the nvidia driver cleaning thingy... tool... something....

You guys have problems with CUDA? o_O What, how, why?

@bytecode I’ve never installed one myself, but every person that I met said it was a pain in the ass

I've never had 388 installed on this OS btw.

@devTea CUDA are the processing cores of the GPU, there is nothing you have to install other then the standard NVIDIA driver for your card. I have no idea what you are all talking about.

@bytecode probably when you tried to integrate it to DL libraries

@grumpyoldaf no I don't touch windows unless I'm playing games. This is an "almost fresh" windows 10 install. I'd be doing actual work either in macOS or Linux.

@bytecode basically what @devtea said. If you don’t know what we’re talking about, consider yourself blessed. Getting CUDA to work with any version of CUDNN for any DL work is a world of pain you never wanna experience.
