big 2+ years project finally canceled due to failure. About to have a meeting about "the future of the team".

Time to retrospect and start a new project

Update: All went better than expected.
Managers concluded (thanks to major support of a PM I was close with due to another project and who was asked to evaluate the situation) that with our resources it is a wonder we managed to even get this far.
Team will stay and get new projects amd for now we will just be doing whatever until the new projects are set
