Meanwhile i am still on my i7 3770k and 8gigs of ram... still hasnt really stopped me from anything other than having a devserver on a wm. For that i have an old dual xeon mac pro running debian, only thing its good at being from 2008. My main machines mobo has real lpt and serial tho which is awesome. SSDs keep the machine still relevant
