Precisely. Because its a "store" of all the apps,so apps will be shown on the front

And regarding your games problem: check out the bottom bar. If your last installed app is from the "apps" page, it will show apps. If its from "games" pages, it will show games. It kind of remembers your last used category

Also it shows the mobile optomised page even on pc. Damn I hate Google s designs
