    Pretty clean, a little thin for my taste, but definitely a solid font . Ligatures are crisp.

    @SortOfTested Ligatures are crap on general. Why monospace then? The only reason for us to use monospace is because it gives modern fonts and editors a sick retro-future look, and because we're used to it.

    I dunno about you, but I like my characters to align in vertical columns when I write code.

    @SortOfTested Same, but there's no point in doing that apart from the habit. It isn't objectively advantageous compared to some nice and airy minimal sans font

    It's a preference for me. It's easier for *me* to read in terminal, vi, which is most of what I use. You do you :)

    If anything, it's distraction because you see a pattern that has no meaning and it can even make you choose worse variable names just so it's the same length as another similarly used variable.
