It's really difficult to stay sane after doing 3hrs of competitive coding plus even after trying so much your code does not run . I really wanna be good at competitive coding but I am horrible. Ahh this is irritating so many hours of thinking shit and nothing workd

Take practice tests, solve the problems to learn and enjoy solving them even if it takes hours. Then, you can try jumping into real competition and be a little better

    Keep iterating

I don't get the appeal personally, but if it's your thing, just keep at it. It'll be like anything else - the more you do, the better you'll get.

Nothing is easy at the beginning. If you really want to be good at it then just put in the effort to learn more and get better. Now, if you are just unhappy most of the time then you might want to rethink if you should keep at it or find something else that makes you happier. Good luck!

@iamai I like the tension while doing it but at the end of I am not able to solve if feel really bad and give .but if I finish a question I feel like I have won the world seriously I mean it .

@sayam yeah I think I understand. The frustration when not yet solved and the immense happiness when you eventually figure out the solution. Just don't give-up then. That usually works for me.

Not for me, my best code usually involves some weed and long pauses to reflect on and wipe code written 1 hour ago.
