How is it that notepad++ has an excellent, easy to use, lightweight and FREE ftp plugin, and every ftp plugin for VScode and sublime is equivalent to a retard fucking a doorknob?

I have yet to figure this out.
I'd write my own, but git hooks are infinitely better, so I never cared.

"Remote - SSH" for VSCode is the only remote editing plugin I use. It works great for servers I can SSH to. Haven't used plain old FTP in a while so I have no idea if there are any decent plugins for that. I think Atom might have one, but it's been a couple years since I used Atom so I could be wrong.

Why is anyone still using ftp in 2020?

@SortOfTested exactly it is even vulnerable to stuff like packet sniffing!

@EmberQuill I was looking for a good extension to edit remote files and this one is brilliant! Thank you!

@SortOfTested Exactly what I was about to comment.

Why the hell are you editing remote files over FTP?
I can't think of a single sane reason for this.
