Listening to virtual conference but I cannot understand anything. Maybe it is because I am alien.

I don't understand anything because I never listen.

Many people don't realise that a good audio quality is far more important than the video. Tell them, OP

@rutee07 Yeah, if you do find that "switch" in the human body, I'd love to hear it. My brain automatically tune people's voices out.

@Jilano Whenever I'm in a conference call, I cannot pay attention. Some of the developers would post their reactions about the call in a group chat like, "Why don't they just do this/that?"

Depending on my energy, I would do one of the following:
    a. Ignore it so it looks like I'm actually listening.
    b. Send a laughing emoji.
    c. If I want to connect, say "Yeah, lol, would be easier."
    d. If I'm curious about the topic but want to look frustrated because I "care that much", say "Why did they think about this in the first place?"

The whole time, I have no fucking idea what they're talking about.

There are people who are good at listening.
And there is the majority, wich is better at reading, watching, or experimenting.

@rutee07 I hope you have a "reaction roulette" to know which one to pick!

    - You don't say!
    - That's obvious, yeah
    - Oh, I didn't think of that
