    My own experience? I have so far refused to learn Python in earnest because I'm not a fan of its duck-typing approach. However, I learned a few basics in less than an hour just reading others' code. Knowing my way aound a dozen other languages helps.

    2005 beginning python. Unfortunately it’s python 2.7

    @frogstair yet this is something that is easily found through a simole google search with a multitude of good online resources. If you ask me this is one of the things that are essential before someone even attempts to code: learning how to search for stuff.
